(Note: Cheeks are very kissable!)Well I have been very tardy on keeping up since Logan has blessed us with his presence. Every day has been such a great experience to cherish. I can't believe he is 6 weeks old already and I only have 6 more weeks left until I go back to work on August 9th. From the beginning we had a very good little guy. He is such a good eater and sleeper. For the past couple of weeks he he has only been getting up once to eat and then goes right back to sleep for 3 more hours. Last night he slept from 9:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. and probably would have kept sleeping but mommy woke him up to (check on him-make sure he was still alive) feed him. He is staying awake longer during the daytime and loves to kick, coo, and lay on his activity mat. He is smiling a lot and melts James' and I's heart when we can tell he knows who Daddy and Mommy are.
I have lost 50 lbs since having Logan. I can see now where the breast feeding is paying off. I have been making sure I eat the necessary calories (and then some) but trying to be smarter on choosing better choices so when the day comes to stop breastfeeding I won't be gaining the weight back on as fast as I got it off. I have been enjoying wearing my pre-pregnancy pants again and they have to be secured by wearing a belt.
Logan will have his 2 month appt. on July 19th. He will be getting his shots (sniff...sniff) but I know it is necessary and he won't remember this thankfully.
