These are the flowers James surprised me with at the office, we celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary on April 16th. We did our annual celebratory fix by going to Ouray, CO (small mountain town) to get massages and have lunch. Logan of course went with us and enjoyed his first trip to Ouray since being out of the womb. (Last year we went, I was busting at the seams pregnant).
I decided to post flowers since it is spring time and we are loving all the blossoms and blooming that is happening around us. Spring is my favorite season. And I apologize for the tardiness for the update on our little boy. With Spring here it also makes things super busy...with both James and I's job hustling and bustling due to the busy seasons underway with Spring here we have been just cherishing our evenings together as a family. We are planning Logan's 1st birthday bash. We are doing a frog and monkey theme. We are going to have fondant frogs and monkeys cupcakes. (Pics will be posted, I promise-we still have a few weeks of denial, or I mean to plan and get things ready).
As for Logan's updates of the latest and greatest, he now has four teeth on top and 3 teeth on the bottom. He is pulling himself up on anything and everything he can find to assist him...whether it be a chair, couch, Golden Retrievers (more tricky because they move on him). He is on the go, go, go...he is defiantly all boy. He is crawling on his hands and knees, but if something has caught his attention down he flops on his tummy and army crawling is the faster way to go. He likes to play tag with things he knows he isn't suppose to touch (so he likes to make it a game, who can get it faster before I touch it) and Mommy and Daddy had forgotten to get it picked up and out of his reach (i.e. doggie dishes - yucky, icky).
Logan is repeating words or more like tones, but everyone heard him say very clearly, "Duck? Quack!Quack!" Cradle roll (singing songs about what God has created) and Daycare (talking about ducks, chicks, and rabbits due to Spring and the Easter holiday coming up) he has had a strong emphasis to hear that a lot.
Happy Spring Everyone, updates hope to hit soon!
