This is just a random post of observation. I am reflecting that this coming Tuesday our son will be 6 months. It is crazy as I stare and watch our blue eyed baby boy sit up by himself so confidently (already showing signs of his Daddy's personality, which I love so much!) I am just stunned to realize how fast it has gone. But I am cherishing every moment with him. Some already know this, but I am being laid off for 5 weeks starting during the Thanksgiving week Holiday and then the whole month of December. I am thankful for this time to spend with my little man.
But back to my earlier train of thought...if you notice our Logan today is; 5 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days old. If you look at our anniversary/marriage ticker we have been married 5 years, 6 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days. I never realized but our son was born exactly one month after our 5 year anniversary. Another great thing I love is Logan and I will get to share our birthdays together. My Dad (his birthday, October 24th) and my sister (her birthday, October 23rd) always got to share the same birthday parties but having each their own special cake decorated. I also always thought that Nicole's birth brought something very special for my Dad. I remember when I was a little girl I would always think Nicole was my Dad's birthday present. Now it brings many special thoughts toward my son, since I will get have him think that as well. Regardless if he decides he wants to celebrate his own special day, I be sure to remind him that his birth is my special birthday present indeed!
