35 Weeks

I now have the feet, ankles (kankles), and hands swelling going on. Sandals are my new daily apparel and I can't wear my wedding ring. I had a Dr's appt. last week and she said that it is very normal and that it is very rare for women not to swell at the ending of their 8th/beginning of 9th month. She also said that some women experience this even earlier in their pregnancy, so I am counting my blessings. She said my weight and blood pressure are as it should be and to keep drinking lots water regardless of the water retention. She said that the only time I need to be concerned is if my eyes and face become puffy. Baby Logan is measuring as he should be and has kept his strong steady heart beat of 150.

We loved our 1st birthing class. There is a total of nine couples and the presenters are fantastic. They have fun personalities and keep the class very informative but also a relaxing and fun environment...especially for the future Dads. They have 15+ years of experience to contribute and there is no doubt it shows. James told me today he is actually looking forward to going to our 2nd birthing class tonight.

James and I had a blast and loved organizing/opening/and putting away our baby's clothes, toys, and gifts. But, no kidding the reality hit that there is going to be a baby here soon. I don't know how people can wait until the last minute to get things done, but I know everyone is different and does things in their own time. I really had to try not to get overwhelmed and anxious, there is still a lot we could do and get done. James thankfully is my rock and keeps me grounded. He assured me we are ahead of the game and we will get it done in due time.

We have an appt. next week from today and then we will be on the down slope to weekly appts.

Please continue to keep Baby Logan, James, and I in your prayers. We are so thankful for so much love and support that we have received from our family and friends.
